Boat details

Build started in 2001 and commissioned in 2015, built from 4mm steel, Shot blasted then two pack primers applied, tow pack undercoats.
Below the waterline is has 4 coats of Copper coat Antifouling, upper decks are primed with single pack paints.
The vessel design is primarily for Cat B usage, it has been designed to enable it to be used in the inland waterways of europe requiring a reduced air draft.
The hull is internally insulated with two layers of 3m Thinsulite, one bonded to the steel hull the other bonded to the internal lining. Quietlife sound insulation is bonded on the bulkheads, hull and sole plates within the engine compartment.

2x Sabre Perkins 225hp inboard diesel engines with Hurth ZF 63A gearboxes, shaft drive, Morse MT3 dual function controllers.

4+2 12 volt batteries, 240v ac & 12v dc, Charging of domestic and engine batteries supplied from a Victron 3kw unit.

Navigation equipment: Seiwa Explorer mk3 + Neovo monitor, AIS Comar CSB200 transponder unit, Log and speed from chart plotter, NASA Navtex, GPS from plotter information, NASA PC USB, NASA Clipper Echo sounder, Icom IC-M505 VHF interfaced to chart plotter.

Safety equipment: 3+1 electric bilge pumps, Gas detector, Search light, Auto fire extinguisher -inert gas flooding, Hand extinguisher, 3x fire blankets, Fwd galley and aft cabin Halyard flow and exhaust alarm system.

Deck equipment: Painted steel deck, bow rails and aft deck rail with spray dodger, Bow anchor locker with Clipper 1000 electric windlass, 15kg Bruce type anchor, Starboard side window wiper, Large aft deck area with secondary steering position, plus helm seat, Ladder down to bathing platform.
